I ordered the Urban Decay 'Naked Palette' today. I've heard rumblings about this item online and it is apparently highly coveted by the masses and has been sold out for months. I'm hoping the colors work for me and my dark skin! It includes of mix of matte and shimmery shadows that range from lighter neutral tones to dark and smokier colors and comes with a shadow brush and the original UD primer potion. Stay tuned...
Rooney Mara is Lisbeth Salander in the American film adaption of Steig Larsson's Millenium Trilogy (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played With Fire, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest), directed by David Fincher.
I've read the books, seen two of the three Swedish films (hopefully watching the third this weekend) and am elated and excited about anything having to do with the franchise.

Aren't these shoes super cute?! I had no clue that Dolce Vita even did a line of shoes for Target until I happened upon these while shopping with my mom before Christmas. Both retail for $29.99, but I got them on sale; the studded oxfords were $14.99 and the ballet flats were $7.49! They are on clearance in the store now, so few pairs are available, but they are fully stocked online. Check out the Dolce Vita for Target line here.
Guacamole is one of very few things I know how to make without reading directly from a recipe. On this particular day I used white onion, in lieu of red, because that's all I had.
The recipe is simple:
2 ripe avocados, 1 handful of cilantro, 1 jalapeno, 1/4 medium red onion, 2 tbsp lime juice, large pinch of cumin, large pinch of chili powder, large pinch of salt
Combine all in a food processor or use some old fashion elbow grease and smash in a bowl with a fork. If you're doing it by hand, the cilantro, jalapeno and onion should be pretty finely chopped before you get started. If you want a more rustic guacamole don't process or smash for too long!
